It can be overwhelming if all your bills seem to come in at once, and if each bill seems to be expensive. Some utility providers (gas, electricity, water) offer an instalment payment plan or ‘bill smoothing’ - where you can arrange to make payments fortnightly or monthly, instead of having to pay the whole amount in one go. Contact your provider to ask about setting up a bill smoothing arrangement.
